Who are Taobh na Pàirce Parent Council?

Taobh na Pàirce Parent Council are a group of parent and carer volunteers who represent the views of the parents at Edinburgh’s Gaelic school, and engage in activities which support and advance the education of pupils attending the school.

Events: The Parent Council run a series of events each year to raise funds, promote the use of the Gaelic language, and build a sense of community. Volunteers are essential and always welcome.

What do the Parent Council do?

Meetings

Parent Council meetings are held regularly online and in person and are open to all parents and carers of children attending Bun-sgoil Taobh na Pàirce. The Headteacher also attends and gives an update.

Events

We run a calendar of events throughout the school year to build a sense of community and raise funds to support the education of children attending the school.

Gaelic language and culture

We promote the use of Gaelic language in our school community.
